1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files that a website may store on the user's device while they browse it.
Among other things, they make it possible to remember certain preferences, keep sessions open, improve how the website works, or obtain statistical information about its use.
At JR Hospitality we want users to be able to decide clearly which cookies they wish to allow.
2. Who uses the cookies?

3. What types of cookies may our website use?
Technical or necessary cookies
These are the cookies needed for the website to work properly. They may be used, for example, to keep a session open, to allow secure access to the private area, to remember certain essential settings, or to keep the site secure. These cookies do not require consent where they are strictly necessary to provide the service the user has requested.
Preference cookies
These make it possible to remember certain choices made by the user, such as language, settings or browsing preferences. Where they are not strictly necessary, they will be used only with the user's consent.
Analytical cookies
These make it possible to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use our website, which pages they consult and how they interact with them. This information helps us understand and improve how the site works and the user experience. Where these cookies require consent, they will not be installed until the user accepts them.
Third-party cookies
Certain features of the website may use services provided by third parties. Those services may install their own cookies, always in accordance with the settings and the consent given by the user where consent is required.
4. Cookies currently in use
As at the date this policy was last updated, the website uses only the items set out below. No advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies are used. The only audience measurement installed uses no cookies and stores nothing on the device; it is described below.
Session cookie (sb-…-auth-token), provided by Supabase. Purpose: to keep the user signed in within the private area and to ensure secure access. Type: technical, strictly necessary. Duration: until sign-out or expiry.
Private area language preference (jr-area-demo-lang), provided by JR Hospitality. Purpose: to remember the language in which the area is to be viewed. Type: preference. It is kept in the browser's local storage; it is not a cookie and it is not sent to the server. Duration: until the browser's data is cleared.
Visit measurement, provided by Umami Analytics (Umami Software, Inc.). The site counts page views in order to learn which content is useful. This service does NOT install cookies and stores no data on the device: it does not identify the user and does not make it possible to track them across websites. The request does, however, disclose the visitor's IP address to the provider, which the service does not retain in identifiable form. Because it uses neither cookies nor local storage, this measurement does not require prior consent.
Typefaces, provided by Google Fonts. The site loads the fonts from Google's servers. This service does not install cookies, but the request discloses to Google the visitor's IP address and basic technical data about their browser.
Anyone browsing the public part of the website without entering the private area receives no cookies at all.
This list will be kept up to date as the website's features evolve. The addition of any tool that does install cookies will lead to its being updated and to the corresponding consent being requested.
5. Managing consent
As at the date this policy was last updated, the website installs NO cookies that require consent, and so no cookie banner is shown. The only cookies that exist are technical ones, strictly necessary to keep the session open within the private area, and they are created only when the user signs in.
If in future any tool is added that does install cookies subject to consent, a banner will be shown on first access and this policy will be updated before that tool is switched on.
Where cookies requiring consent exist, the system must clearly offer the possibility to:
Accept all: authorise the optional cookies used by the website.
Reject all: continue browsing without installing optional cookies.
Configure cookies: select individually the categories of cookies to be authorised.
In that case, the decision may be changed at any time from the banner itself, and also by clearing the site's data from the browser.
6. Cookies and the private area
The client private area may need certain technical cookies in order to identify a user session, keep access secure and allow certain features to work.
Where these cookies are strictly necessary to provide the service requested, they will remain active for as long as their operation requires.
7. Third-party cookies
Should external services be added — for example measurement tools, maps, multimedia content, security systems or other integrations — the user will be informed of the provider's identity, the purpose of the cookies and, where applicable, the data processing carried out by that third party.
Non-necessary cookies must not be installed before the user has given consent where such consent is required.
8. How long cookies last
Cookies may be:
Session cookies: they are deleted when the user closes the browser.
Persistent cookies: they remain stored for a set period.
JR Hospitality will seek to limit the lifetime of cookies to the time needed to fulfil their purpose, in line with the applicable recommendations and regulations.
9. How to change or withdraw consent
Users may change or withdraw their consent at any time through the cookie settings tool available on this website.
In addition, the main browsers allow cookies to be viewed, blocked or deleted from their respective settings sections.
Disabling certain technical cookies may affect the proper working of some website features, particularly those relating to sessions or private access.
10. Data protection
Where the use of cookies involves the processing of personal data, that processing will be carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Updates
JR Hospitality may update this Cookie Policy when new features are added, when the providers used change, or when it becomes necessary to adapt it to technical or regulatory changes.
We recommend consulting this section from time to time.
